A woman's journey to join her friends at a lake is hindered by the burden of a goldfish aquarium she must carry.

"i tried to talk it through" is a short film focusing on the social aspect of dealing with invisible pain. Our society often finds it difficult to understand the burden that a transparent disability places on those who suffer from it - the film seeks to give form to feelings and pains that cannot be described in words. 

The film has won awards for "Best Student Short", "Best Microfilm" "Best Student Director" at Independent Shorts Awards, and "Best Super Short Film" at Stockholm City Film Festival and is a semi-finalist for "Best Micro Short" at Sunday Film Festival.
